Every journey is different, but we want to show that there can be positive moments even when they are least expected! Obviously there were also many, many tears and moments of incredible frustration, but those don’t get caught on camera so much 😉
Ellie astounded us with her determination, and the way she adapted to her cast – to say we are proud of her is an understatement! Her twin brother (Toby) was an enormous support throughout, and he definitely made her (and our!) cast life better.
Unfortunately it is looking likely that Ellie will need further surgery, as her hip socket does not appear to be growing. Despite being incredibly frustrated by this news (how on earth do you manage with a 4 year old in a cast?!) we know that Ellie, with Toby’s support, will get through it – and will make us all laugh along the way!
